Downtown Discount Cards for $10 each featuring discounts from 20 downtown businesses!

ECDI is greatly involved with supporting the local community and providing great events for people of all ages.  From here you can find out about the events ECDI is involved in.

The 2013 North Carolina Potato Festival will be Saturday, May 18 from 10am to 10pm!  Amusement Rides, arts & craft and food vendors, live music on stage, Potato Peeling Contest, Little Miss Tater Tot contest, Car & Motorcyle show, Cornhole and much more!  We end with our popular Street Dance on Main Street.  Don't miss this fun-filled family event!

Our traditional Downtown Holiday Celebration 2012 is Friday, November 23 from 6-8pm beginning with the ceremonial street lighting at the Pasquotank County Courthouse.  "Sleigh rides" will be available again, and Santa Claus will be at Port Discover and Mrs. Claus at Page After Page Bookstore.  PNC Bank will be hosting refreshments and caroling, and some of our shops will be open for some great Christmas shopping!  Free and open to the public!

Come Downtown Elizabeth City for Small Business Saturday, November 24.  There will be a sidewalk sale from 10am to 4pm and lots of specials!  Also, if you participate in the Kids' First Turkey Trot that morning, you can receive a discount at participating downtown stores!

October 12 & 13 from 5:00-8:00pm ECDI will be selling BBQ/Fried Chicken dinners for $8.00 each during the Historic Ghost Walk!  All proceeds will help with downtown revitalization efforts.  Seating at PNC Bank, 606 E. Main Street, or take it to go.  Tickets available at The Center, Muddy Waters, Page After Page and from ECDI Board Members.  You can also purchase them on site the nights of the event.  Or call 252-338-4104.  Ghost Walk event tickets sold separately $12 each.

First Friday ArtWalk  - every first Friday of every month come downtown and experience wonderful artists at many participating downtown venues.  For more information see the First Friday tab on this website.
