Page After Page Celebrates Five Years!
It was five years ago on Dec 7th that the new owner Susan Hinkle purchased our local bookstore. “Mr. Toads wild ride is what it reminds me of”, says Susan Hinkle, “there is always something new and challenging in owning your own business and especially an independent bookstore.” Over the past five years, Page After Page’s inventory has grown in leaps and bounds carrying many more book and gift items for you to choose from: Art Supplies, kitchen helpers in the cookbook section and Toys galore. “It’s so much fun stocking all these great fun items – come in and see!” says Susan & Staff. “We get many of our ideas for items to carry from our customers; we appreciate their input and suggestions so much!” This is a store that prides itself on listening to customer input and acting on it – “Customer Service is number 1 for us” says Hinkle, “Our employees and I feel that you, the customer, are the most important part of our day, we strive to make you feel special to us, because without you, we wouldn’t be here employing people from our community, we thank you for shopping with us.”
The new store website www.pageafterpagebook.com is just about ready, you can browse over 150,000 titles and order books online for pickup or delivery you can even download ‘e-books’. “We are very excited about its launch and it’s expected to be any day now.” Susan says, the website will have all the bells & whistles you would expect from an on-line store and allows you to also keep your money local while shopping on-line no matter where you are. “Of course we hope everyone will still come in the store – there is nothing like holding that book in your hand and viewing the pages while browsing. Plus we want to see our customers!!” The website Page After Page hopes will attract new customers and give their current customer base a place to go to gather information on our events, new products and sales.
