Elizabeth City Downtown, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that depends on community support to make a difference in downtown Elizabeth City.
We are often in need of volunteers to help with our events such as the NC Potato Festival, Mariner’s Wharf Film Festival, occasional beautification efforts, etc. We also are a 501 (c)(3) public charity and your donations are not only making a difference in downtown, the heart of our community, they are also tax deductible. Past projects have been things such as the NC Potato Festival, Mariner's Wharf Film Festival, Holiday Celebration, street banners, flowers, Main Street Clock, clean-up days, and many others.
Or, be a part of history by having your family or friend’s, or even your business’s name, inscribed on a brick lining the floor of the beautiful Waterfront Park Pavilion. There are about 90 - 8 x 4 inch bricks still available. Now is the time to insure a place as part of Elizabeth City’s history by having your names inscribed to be read daily by passing visitors and local residents for generations to come. A tax deductible donation of $75.00 will continue the downtown area revitalization efforts.
